Moderation
PhysioHub is moderated by APA staff between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm AEST, Monday to Friday. Members are encouraged to report in appropriate content by using the "mark as inappropriate" function available in the drop down of each post. Content that is marked as inappropriate is confidential, and is escalated to APA staff for investigation. Content containing profanity or other derogatory phases are automatically placed in a moderation queue for APA staff. You may report a post as inappropriate any any time of day, noting it will be reviewed by APA staff on the next business day.
Community purpose
The PhysioHub online community is intended to foster collaboration, discussion, and networking among members. The community exists to provide a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, education and insights related to physiotherapy and the APA membership community.
Eligibility
To participate in the PhysioHub online community, you must be:
- a current member of the APA, an employee of the APA, or be invited by the APA as a verified partner of the APA. The APA reserves the right to invite partners to participate, including but not limited to professional development presenters and third-party partners
- in good standing with the organisation and compliant with the member code of conduct.
Consent for information sharing
By accepting these terms, you consent to the APA sharing your APA membership profile and professional information with other participants of the PhysioHub community for the purposes of the PhysioHub online community.
Respectful engagement
Members must engage in respectful and constructive communication. By participating in this community, you agree not to:
- use disrespectful, offensive, harmful, or inappropriate language (use of any swear word is absolutely unacceptable)
- harass, threaten, or discriminate against others based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other status
- post inappropriate or objectionable material.
Inappropriate or objectionable material includes but is not limited to material which:
- is intended to (or could possibly) cause insult, offence, intimidation or humiliation
- is defamatory of or threatening to any person
- is offensive, obscene, criminal, discriminatory, derogatory
- promotes or incites hatred or violence
- is or may be false or misleading
- infringes the rights of, or affects the use and enjoyment of this community by, any person
- could adversely affect the image, reputation, viability or profitability of APA or our business partners or suppliers
- discloses commercially sensitive, anti-competitive, private, or confidential information.
You must not:
- interfere with the proper working of PhysioHub
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent any of the technical measures that we use to manage or secure this community
- use any system or software, manual or automated, to extract data from PhysioHub
- introduce trojans, worms, spyware, or other malicious or technologically harmful content to PhysioHub.
Content guidelines
You are solely responsible for the content you post within the community. This includes, but is not limited to, text, links, images, and files. By posting content, you agree that:
- Your contributions are your own and do not infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy of any person.
- You grant the community the right to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content within the community context.
- Content must remain on-topic and relevant to the community’s goals.
- Any content violating the APAs Professional development advertising guidelines will be removed. Should an individual continue to post content in breach of the APAs guidelines, they may be removed from the community at the APAs discretion.
- Any inappropriate or objectionable material or content promoting illegal activity, violence, or hate speech will result in immediate removal and potential suspension of membership.
The APA may remove content, including third-party content and links, or suspend the operation of the community at any time without notice. The APA will not be responsible for any loss, damage or liability that may arise as a result.
